  I’m a college student and I stayed here with my girl during our college spring break a couple weeks ago. Everything about the hotel is pretty decent other than the staff. There’s a short-haired, African American female, kind of chubby, who works at the front desk that I had problems with. She confessed to me that she smokes weed and tried to get me to admit that I do as well. She repeatedly kept telling me that she knew I did and that all the staff at the hotel does. The battery to the lock on my room door died one night and I couldn’t get into my room where all my belongings were. I was put into another room and was told to speak with someone the next day about lowering my rate. Of course when I try to speak with someone regarding the rate (short haired black lady), she tells me I have to meet the manager at a certain time. On check out day, I went to the front desk to check out and that same black female had the rudest attitude with me. She aggressively and loudly accused me of smoking in the rooms once again and told me I’m not getting a lower rate. After returning back home, I realized the hotel had constantly tried to charge my credit card on multiple occasions. Three days after returning home, they charged me an extra $200. I would not recommend this hotel if you’re staying for more than a night. The staff was nice for the most part other than that one short haired black lady that works at the front. She was very rude and unprofessional. I don’t know her name but she works the morning/day shift and has a kind of deep/smokers voice or talks as if she’s losing her voice.
